THIS IS ZAMBIA

Zambia is located in southern Africa and is probably mostly known for the magnificent Victoria Falls. The country is one of the 15 poorest countries in the world with an average life expectancy age of 33 years.

Zambia gained independency in 1964 and was at that time one of the richest countries in Africa. The current situation is to great extent related to the fall of copper prices in 1976 which forced Zambia into taking expensive loans over and over again. Since the 1980's the investments in schools and healthcare has been close to zero and the country has just over 700 doctors to care for 10 million people, out of which 1 million are HIV positive.
